Step 1

Get Out There

Choose a suitable route.

Perhaps a walk you regularly go on, or it could be a new place to explore. 

 

Look on the walk for any historic features and take photos.

This could include interesting buildings, street signs, churches and churhyards, grave stones, former schools or shops etc

Step 2

Make it Personal

Include photos and stories or anywhere that has special associations

Your place of birth, a workplace, a place with a special memory 

 

Overlay a 'Then' and 'Now' image, include old photos of your family in this location
